Why does the Queen have two birthdays, and when are they?

Millions of residents brought out the bunting and attended events to

celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee last weekend.

There were street parties, official engagements, and a party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Many of us wonder what it would be like to be the Queen and have a taste of her lifestyle.

Similarly, we all wish we could stretch our birthday out for as long as possible

but for the British monarch, that dream is a reality.

Queen Elizabeth II’s actual birth date was April 21, 1926, making her 95 years old,

however she also celebrates her second, official birthday just a few months later in June.

The Queen has now become the first British monarch to celebrate 70 years on the throne, with four days of royal celebrations taking place across the country.
