Why did a court issue a restraining order against Ezra Miller to protect an 18-year-old activist?

Over the past few months Ezra Miller, the actor who played the Justice League superhero the Flash,

has had more than his share of run-ins with the law.

The most recent saw a Massachusetts court grant

the mother of a 12-year-old a temporary protection order on behalf of her child.

Another court in South Dakota issued a similar order protecting the Iron Eyes family,

including their 18-year-old nonbinary daughter Tokata Iron Eyes a Standing Rock activist.

They now go by the name of Gibson and have been traveling with Miller for several months.

Miller now 29 years old, met the now 18-year-old Standing Rock activist when Gibson was just 8.
