‘The Serpent’ Star Tahar Rahim Joins Dakota Johnson’s ‘Madame Web’

Sony continues to expand its Spider-Man adjacent universe following the poor box office performance of Morbius.

Kraven the Hunter starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson is currently filming in the United Kingdom as Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web gears up for its shoot.

With casting underway for Madame Web,

Deadline reports that Tahar Rahim is the latest name to join the film. There are no details on who Rahim will play.

Tahar Rahim’s most recognizable roles come in The Servent, A Prophet, and The Mauritanian.

Rahim joins Madame Web after filming Ridley Scott’s Napoleon starring Joaquin Phoenix.

In addition to Tahar Rahim, Madame Web will star Dakota Johnson in the lead role, Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced.

S.J. Clarkson will direct Madame Web from a script penned by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless, and Kerem Sanga.
