Resident Evil 4 Remake Will Have a Reimagined Storyline
During a PlayStation State of Play, a remake of
Resident Evil 4
was announced. This featured a brief look at recreated environments
like the village seen at the start of the game, and character designs.
However, Capcom has opened an official website for the
Resident Evil 4
remake, which reveals that the game will also see a “reimagined” storyline.
While it’s clear that certain character designs have been modified for the remake,
with Ashley, Ada, and Luis appearing briefly in the trailer, this won’t be the only change made. [Thanks, AestheticGamer/Dusk Golem!]
The website states that the
Resident Evil 4
remake will see a reimagined storyline, it will also feature more modernized gameplay elements.
However, Capcom has yet to reveal how any of this will manifest.
The trailer simply provided a glimpse into how the iconic starting area in
Resident Evil 4
has been slightly modified for the remake.
On Twitter, the official Japanese
Resident Evil
account stated that the trailer shown at the State of Play was just a teaser trailer.
