Prince Harry, Meghan Markle host ‘relaxed’ first birthday party for Lilibet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hosted a “relaxed” first birthday party for their daughter, Lilibet, on Saturday.

“It was a lovely do and had everything you’d expect from a child’s birthday party,” a source told The Sun.

“But there was no formal entertainment. The idea was for it to be very relaxed and casual, with people free to pop in and out as they wished.”

According to the outlet, Harry’s first cousin Zara Tindall’s three children – Mia, 8, Lena, 3, and Lucas, 1

attended the lowkey bash, along with his other first cousin Peter Phillips’ daughters, Savannah, 11, and Isla, 10.

Notably not in attendance were Prince George and Princess Charlotte, or their little brother,

Prince Louis. Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest children were busy making a surprise appearance on an official visit to Wales.

The informal garden party for Lilibet took place at Frogmore Cottage

the home that Harry and Meghan first shared as newlyweds

and featured everything from a birthday cake and balloons to party games and picnic snacks, according to The Sun.
