Prince Harry: I see Princess Diana’s ‘legacy’ in my children
Prince Harry gushed about Princess Diana’s legacy
playing out in his children’s lives while honoring
what would have been his late mother’s 61st birthday.
“There isn’t a day during the past two and a half decades where I haven’t thought about the mark
she left not only on me and my brother [Prince William] but on all of our lives,” the Duke of Sussex,
37, said in a video address for the Diana Awards’ virtual ceremony Friday.
“My mother instilled in me … a drive to speak up and fight for a better world,” he said.
After saying that he sees the princess’ legacy in the
award’s recipients every year, Harry shared, “I see her legacy every time I meet with families, young people and children from all corners of the world.
