Meghan and Harry 'snubbed' Queen's key royal event for rushed exit
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined other royals to watch the military display on
Horse Guards Parade during the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. But Meghan and Harry were
in such a rush to leave they missed the special RAF flypast, the Telegraph reports.
The Red Arrows put on a patriotic show with over 70 aircraft filling the skies over Buckingham Palace with red, white and blue plumes.
Although the Queen banned the couple from the palace's balcony,
they could have watched with other non-working royals on the roof of St James’s Palace.
However, Meghan and Harry reportedly opted to go home to Frogmore Cottage instead.
No one had expected her to make an appearance in Scotland, even though she
visits every year, because for months she's had mobility issues and has been cancelling appearances.
