Love and Thunder viewers urge Marvel to add trigger warning

Cinemagoers are issuing trigger warnings to those planning to watch Thor:

 Love and Thunder, and criticising Marvel’s decision to not include one at the beginning of the film.

The new film, which is a sequel to 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok, stars Chris

Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson and Natalie Portman.

Portman returns to the franchise for the first time since 2014’s Thor:

The Dark World, with director Taika Waititi giving her character Dr Jane Foster an elevated role.

In the film, Jane is revealed to have stage four cancer and, in one scene, is shown having chemotherapy treatment.
