The sci-fi action film, led by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, is reportedly looking to
earn a total of $125 million USD across 4,600 cinemas in North America during its opening weekend.
So far, it has also earned $55.7 million USD from 15 international markets like Mexico, Korea,
Brazil and Italy and will open in more countries like France, Germany,
Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom, China and Japan throughout June.
Top Gun: Maverick
pocketed $90 million USD in its second weekend and could earn an additional $45 million USD to $55 million USD this weekend.
The film debuted with $160 million USD during Memorial Day weekend
and is closing in at $300 million USD in domestic earnings so far, making the sequel to the 1986
film Tom Cruise's best-selling film in North America.
