How England snatched a point against Germany in Tuesday’s Nations League

Harry Kane scored his 50th goal in international football to earn England a 1-1 draw against Germany in Munich.

The home side dominated for much of the game, but England finished strongly

and were rewarded when Kane slammed an 88th-minute penalty past Manuel Neuer.

Jonas Hofmann had given Germany a deserved lead shortly after half-time, ramming a shot

through Jordan Pickford - who might have done better - after a lovely pass from Joshua Kimmich.

Pickford kept England in the game with fine saves from Thomas Muller and Timo Werner before

the introduction of Jack Grealish gave England some belated attacking impetus.

Grealish started the move that led to Kane being brought down by Nico Schlotterbeck.

A penalty was awarded after a VAR check, and Kane crashed his kick into the bottom corner.
