Amber Heard's appeal: These are her options as she aims to overturn Johnny Depp verdict

Amber Heard has announced that she is going to appeal the verdict

in her Johnny Depp defamation trial, but she must decide how she will go about it.

The trial has been one of the most high-profile for a long time and it

ended in defeat for Heard, as the 'Aquaman' actress was found

liable of defaming her ex-husband Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed.

That meant that the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star has been awarded

more than 10 million dollars in damages. It was stated at the time by

Heard's legal team that they will be appealing the verdict.

That was taken a step further last Friday as her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, reiterated the desire in court in Fairfax, West Virginia.
