‘Spirit Untamed’ Plot

Spirit: Untamed is the story of Lucky Prescott (Isabela Merced) and her journey to connect back to her roots. Lucky never really knew her late mother, Milagro Navarro (Eiza González), who was a horse-riding stunt performer from Miradero, a small town at the edge of the open frontier.

After Lucky and her aunt move back to the tiny town, she encounters Spirit, a wild Mustang that she instantly bonds with, and sets off on an adventure to keep the horse out of falling into the wrong hands.

When Spirit’s herd is captured by rustlers, the girls and their horses must undertake the adventure of a lifetime to save them.

‘Spirit Untamed’ Release date

‘Spirit Untamed’ was previously scheduled for May 14, 2021. But now it is scheduled for a theatrical release on June 4, 2021 by Universal Pictures.

Production of the film was done and shifted to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Spirit Untamed’ Trailer

The trailer of the film has released on March 31, 2021, which shares a glimpse into the film. What’s really exciting about the trailer is the inclusion of Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams”.

While the small snippet of the song lasts barely a few minutes, it seems to be enough to generate excitement about her fans for the full version of the song.

It’s great to see this evolution in her career, following Swift’s journey through the folkloric era and her Disney+ seasons.
